Skales has said he and his family now live under perpetual fear following the recent invasion of his residence by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, better known as Skales, a popular artist, has said that he and his family are now always terrified.
He fears for his life as a result of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) officials breaking into his residence.
Remember how Skales was wrongly accused of being a scammer by the EFCC after reporting the agency for breaking into his home some weeks before?
Skales indicated in a recent interview with the Terms & Conditions podcast that his life is no longer safe and that he has received threats since his outburst against the anti-graft agency.
The ‘Shake Body’ crooner said he is still moving about freely because he is “clean.” He said his artist, who was arrested during the raid, is still in custody.
He said, “The EFCC operatives that invaded my house didn’t have a search warrant. Obviously, they were illegal.
“My problem with the EFCC guys is not even the fact that they are not doing what they were paid for.
“They are now using the power to oppress people. They are oppressing me right now. I am scared for my life, I won’t lie to you. I’m scared but at the same time, I know I’m clean, that’s why I’m moving around.”
