superstar Nigerian singer, wizkid has recently declared that he’d die rich even though he was born poor. the singer who made number 7 on the list of riches African artistes via his twitter account wrote;
Wizkid who is a product of a large family of six is the lastborn. He started singing at the age of 11 in church choir and released an album of 7 tracks titled “Lil Prinz”.
Prior to stardom, Wizkid’s first song featured legendary act, OJB Jezreel. in 2006, Wizkid collaborated with Naeto C and Ikechukwu. He became a household name within Nigeria’s musical landscape in 2009, it was at that time he got featured on M.I’s song, “Fast Money, Fast Cars”, and Kel’s “Turn by Turn”.
After getting signed to Empire Mates Entertainment, Wizkid featured on EME boss, Banky W’s album, The W Experience. He released his debut album on 9th June, 2011.
