  • DJ Cuppy, Florence Otedola, a prominent media personality, has disclosed her background and the realities of privilege.
    • DJ Cuppy, daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola, admitted to growing up in a financially secure environment but didn’t fully understand the extent of her privilege.
    • She shared her newfound awareness of life’s disparities on her X handle, stating that she didn’t realize how privileged she was growing up.

Media figure Florence Otedola, widely recognized as DJ Cuppy, has candidly discussed her upbringing and the implications of privilege.

As the offspring of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola, DJ Cuppy revealed that she was raised in a financially stable environment and, during her childhood, did not fully comprehend the magnitude of her advantages.

In a recent post on her X account, she expressed her growing awareness of societal inequalities, remarking, “Growing up, I didn’t fully realise just how privileged I was. I never had to worry about anything.”

She reflected on how what she once viewed as ordinary—living without monetary stress—represents a reality that many individuals aspire to and hope for.

On her X handle, Cuppy wrote, “Thank God I see it now. What felt normal to me is something someone else is praying for? Gratitude changes everything.”

In other news, There’s been quite a stir over a new video circulating online that captures billionaire’s son Raheem Okoya walking out of the Isbae U show.

Unlike other billionaire kids like Davido and B-Red, who are often seen as pretty humble, Raheem’s guest spot on the Isbae U YouTube show is definitely raising some eyebrows.

Content creator Isbae U has caught the eye of many social media users with his YouTube show, Curiosity Made Me Ask, which has also attracted big names in the industry.

Recently, Raheem Okoya, the son of billionaire Rasaq Okoya, appeared as the latest guest on the show.

The interview with comedian Isbae U and billionaire son Raheem Okoya, famous for the song “Bad Bitch Syndrome,” ended poorly as the artist walked off the show.

It began when Raheem Okoya insisted he is not an upcoming artist but rather an established one. He supported his viral tweet by stating that the Headies awards are meant for newcomers, implying that all the winners are still emerging talents.

The billionaire’s son mentioned that he is on the same level as Grammy winners, not just a Nigerian artist, even though he proudly represents Nigeria.

Isbae U responded by advising him not to let wealth affect his mindset, saying, “Don’t let money make you lose your mind.”

Raheem Okoya explained that it’s not about money but about confidence. He stated, “It’s not a money thing; it’s a confidence thing. When you know your worth, you can’t let it go.”

In response to the statement, Isbae U playfully tells Raheem Okoya to exit the show, saying, “Just leave.”

The billionaire’s son got angry when he revealed he didn’t want to be on the show. He mentioned that Isbae U wasn’t on his level and then walked out. This surprised Isbae U, as he didn’t expect Raheem Okoya to react that way.
