Another controversy appears to be unfolding between Nollywood actresses Laide Bakare and Chizzy Alichi, as the former announced in a recent statement that she won their viral boxing competition.

In a new statement, the Yoruba actress who was recently called out by Portable revealed that, contrary certain people’s accusations, she won the fight.
Laide Bakare said that individuals who called her a loser following the boxing match are liars and manipulators.
She then posted a video of the battle and the presentation of her award.
Laide shared a video to back up her allegation, writing:
“I have decided not to Ever fight on social media BUT THIS PARTICULAR ONE IS DIFFERENT BECAUSE IT INVOLVES Several millions of Dollars. And I will Never Tolerate this act of manipulation and lies. Why are people Tagging me looser of the Game? claiming I was Defeated in the just concluded CELEBRITY GLOBAL FIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Anyway no long story, HERE comes the receipt I am the WINNER.”
In another social media post, the actress said that she is throwing a victory party to celebrate her win against Chizzy Alichi. Laide Bakare stated that the celebration will be held in Lekki on Sunday, March 3rd.
