He stated that he had been working with Wizkid for about a year before Wizkid’s tweet grabbed the attention of social media users, giving the impression that their collaboration started with a verbal discussion on the social media.

Furthermore, Banky W clarified that he discovered Wizkid’s song when perusing the music of unsigned singers.

Before they ever met, he disclosed Wizkid’s job description as a hype guy for artist Kel.
