“I Don Collect My Own”- Sabinus gets honorary degree, shows off certificate

Emmanuel Ejekwu, better known online as Oga Sabinus, is a well-known Nigerian comedian and skit creator who has sparked online debate with a photo of himself wearing graduation regalia.

The well-known comedian asked his fans to  congratulate as he marks a significant achievement in his life in the caption of the photo that was shared on his page.

Sabinus said that even though he is aware that many people would make fun of him for it, he doesn’t care because as things stand, he is now included among those who have earned honorary degrees.

Mike Premium, a manager for the skit creator, confirmed the purpose of the award and certificates.

Premium reported that Oga Sabinus, also known as Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, recently received an honorary degree from an American university.

The institute had this to say about Sabinus: “This award is in recognition of his outstanding leadership and attainment, which have uniquely impacted positively in the society and improved the travel, tourism and hospitality industry in Nigeria.”
