Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has said that he owns no property or hotel business in the state and his only assets are the people.
He made this statement at the flag-off of Orlu-Mgbee-Akokwa road construction on Tuesday, July 26, Vanguard reports.
Uzodinma restated his commitment to ensuring that his administration serves and work for the common good of Imolites with focus on development and wealth creation.
The governor said that upon assumption of office, he entered into a covenant of shared prosperity and he will continue to place the state above personal interest.
Uzodinma said in part; “I entered into a covenant of shared prosperity, I own no hotel or property in Imo State, my only assets are the people.”
