“I don’t need to show too much skin on my wedding day to look beautiful” – Lady roasted over statement

On her wedding day, a young Nigerian lady receives harsh criticism for her comments on modest clothes among other ladies.

Deborah Ocheido, a social media user known by the username @d_ocheido on the microblogging site X, set tongues turning on her wedding day.

Deborah had turned to the twitter to post lovely images from her wedding day, as well as to comment on the recent trend of excessive showing of skins at weddings.“I don’t need to be naked to be beautiful, ven on my wedding day!!!!!” she captioned the photos.

Her comment, however, sparked outrage among many women, since she has been chastised for disparaging women in general.

@ellaTheBomba opined: “Imagine judging other people because they sin different than you ON UR WEDDING DAY 😅. You could just be happy for YOU babe. The day is about YOU! You can do whatever YOU like and so can THEY on THEIR DAY. I thought that’s the Christian thing to do.”
