Mercy Eke, a former Big Brother Naija All Stars competitor, has expressed her desire and willingness to settle down.
Mercy claimed in an interview with media personality Hero Daniels that she does not want to be a ‘Baby Mama’ like some of her celebrity colleagues.
When asked about how she is dealing with loneliness, Mercy said “I don’t want to be a baby mama. At this point, I’m ready to settle down and have a family.
Mercy opened up about her hesitation to tie the knot in the interview with Hero Daniels. She expressed uncertainty about marriage, stating that she doesn’t feel ready for it just yet.
r candidness about this topic shed light on the pressure she’s been under from her mother, who, like many African mothers, has been urging her to get married.
Mercy also revealed that she has one last relationship left in her before she considers giving up on the idea of marriage. If things don’t work out in this last relationship, she may reevaluate her perspective on matrimony.
” I’m ready to have my own kids. If I wanted to be a baby mama, I would have been one but no disrespect to ‘baby mamas’ but I would rather be married first because I’m from a Christian home.
“In as much as you want to be a boss lady, we just need that care, that somebody who just wakes up and checks on you. Someone who will be by your side and just do little things for you.
“Yeah, husband dey hungry me but I feel like I’m much more ready to have a little one,” she stated.
