Mayor Frosh, a former housemate of Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard,’ shared how he had to leave the University of Lagos (UNILAG) unexpectedly.
In an interview with Hero Daniels, he said he faced bullying from cultists because he refused to join their group.
The event happened between 2016 and 2017, where the Mayor was attacked and his items were taken.
Concerned for his safety, his parents moved him to a private university after he dropped out UNILAG.
He said: “I was in UNILAG but there was a cult incident that happened. It was between 2016/2017. Then, cultism was still a big issue in some schools.
“I was attacked, my belongings were taken from me. It was a way of trying to get me to join. I left Unilag and told me parents and they enrolled me into a private university.”
In other news, Nigerian Afropop artist Chike Ezekpeazu Osebuka, better known as Chike, has given N1 million to a troll who criticized him for purportedly obtaining popularity from the late rapper Mohbad.
This gesture follows the publication of Chike’s smash single “Egwu,” a duet with Mohbad before his sad death.
The song immediately rose up the charts, becoming a significant success across several streaming platforms. Despite the success, several social media users accused Chike of using Mohbad’s name for personal benefit.
The criticism escalated after Chike posted a video of his new song on X (previously Twitter), prompting a specific troll, @hate_ofx, to say, “Mohbad made you.”
In an unexpected move, Chike chose to transform the criticism into a constructive deed. By giving N1 million to the troll.
