“I fasted & prayed for 9 days to pick my bridesmaid”- Umenwa Ekene stirs reactions

Umenwa Ekene, a Nollywood actress, has created another stir on social media by revealing how she chose her chief bridesmaid.

Remember how Umenwa made headlines for her reaction to gospel artist Moses Bliss’ appearance at her wedding in Benin City, Edo state?

In a recent post, the actress stated that she fasted and prayed for nine days before choosing actress Chinenye Nnebe as her principal bridesmaid.

Umenwa shared on social media that she desired the greatest and that her maker chose Chinenye.

The newlywed wife also praised over her coworker and her outstanding works.

An extract from Umenwa’s post read: “Choosing a maid of honour was something I tried doing on my own but it didn’t work because it was never God’s will, then I went into 9 days Novena prayers and fasting (because I wanted the best) and Jesus told me, stand still, let me select the best for you.”
