Dara, the wife of Nigerian actor Lande, has shared startling details about the challenges in their marriage.
In an exclusive interview, she revealed that she personally financed their introduction ceremony when they first got married. She also alleged that Lande once sold his car, only to gamble away the proceeds.
Reflecting on the difficulties she faced, Dara disclosed:
“When I met Lande, he wasn’t financially stable. He has a habit of playing Aviator frequently and losing money. There was a time he sold his car, telling me he planned to buy another one, but later admitted he had spent everything on betting.”
She further accused him of neglecting her at home, claiming that he was always preoccupied with his phone, playing Aviator.
Addressing rumors, she challenged Lande’s claims about her alleged past relationships:
“He insists he has evidence that I was involved with 21 men in the industry. I dare him to name them and show proof. There is no one who can publicly claim to have been with me.”
Dara also clarified that she never completely moved out of their home, contrary to speculation.
“During one of our fights, I only took a piece of clothing with me. Up until now, I haven’t retrieved any of my belongings from the house. In fact, I am in debt because of him.”
She went on to reveal Lande’s struggles with gambling and anger issues:
“He can spend as much as ₦2 million on betting. He also has anger issues, which sometimes turn violent. I regret losing my home. I am not speaking out to have him ridiculed or judged—I just wanted to explain my side of the story.”
