During this time, his younger brother, Joseph Iniyezo, used social media platforms to raise awareness about Solid Star’s mental health struggles and to solicit public support and assistance.


Solid Star, who has overcome his addiction, discussed his hard experience with drugs during a recent appearance on the Honest Bunch podcast alongside media personality Nedu Wazobia and others.

He described a critical period in 2001 when negative influences introduced him to hard drugs, resulting in severe mental health issues.

Solid Star accurately explained how the narcotics influenced his actions, even compelling him to embark on grueling journeys across Lagos.
