Denrele Edun, a popular Nigerian crossdresser and media figure, has opened out about a difficult time in his life, disclosing that he had a stroke that injured half of his face.
In an interview with Channel TV, Denrele stated that the stroke closed his left eye and produced a notable change in his facial characteristics, prompting him to hide the damaged side with his distinctive and elaborate haircuts.
The media celebrity described his struggle, including how the stroke affected many facets of his health.
Denrele claimed that the stroke not only impacted his face appearance, but also caused respiratory problems and reduced eyesight owing to the habitual closing of his left eye.
Additionally, he disclosed that his right leg experienced numbness during this challenging period, and he lost hair on the front side of his head.
Denrele Edun went on to reveal that when he was battling the effects of the stroke, he received a call for a movie shoot. Opting not to disclose his illness or seek sympathy, he decided to attend the shoot.
