Davido, a popular Nigerian Afrobeats musician, has revealed that he had a studio in his millionaire father’s mansion but was unaware of it.
Davido, who recently admitted that the relevance of Nigerian musicians has been sacrificed by their forefathers, also revealed his early career in the music industry during the same interview.
He said that his father was ignorant of the recording studio he had in his home.
He claimed that he was able to set up a hidden studio because the property had over 20 rooms and his father had a habit of heading directly to his room after work.
The “Unavailable” singer also explained how he traveled to America for education, attending a school in Tennessee before moving to Alabama.
To avoid him from becoming sidetracked, his father did not want him to attend school in Atlanta, where he was born.
However, Davido attended a school in Alabama that was very musically minded. At the end of the day, he had to leave school because all the artists back home were going crazy, and he needed to be a part of it.
