"I had no fear launching my career" - Singer Danny Young asserts

Danny Young, a singer, has claimed that he is not afraid to relaunch his career after taking a significant break to study the evolving music scene.

The artist, who is famed for his perfectionism and self-assurance, stated that fear is the one thing that can transform a person into a loser.

“I am a perfectionist, and I believe in myself and the importance of evaluation and research,” Danny Young reveals.

“Once I know what I want to do, I strike immediately and leave the rest to God.”

Danny Young reflected on his time away, saying that it allowed him to observe industry shifts and trends, ensuring that his return would be meaningful.

He dismissed the notion that time away would jeopardize his fame, pointing out that every generation saw the rise and fall of different artists.

“Artistes come and go in every generation,” he continued. “But I knew that with the right preparation and a clear vision, I could make a strong comeback. Fear was never an option for me.”

In other news, Nigerian social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, known as Verydarkman, stated that he does not have a high opinion of veteran singer Michael Ugochukwu Stephen.

This comment followed a recent statement made by the rapper regarding Verydarkman and his style of activism.

In a video posted by VDM, the hip-hop artist shared that he used to look up to Verydarkman when he first started his activism with NAFDAC and his fight against unregistered brands.

Ruggedman mentioned that he lost respect for the activist when he began investigating people’s private lives, pointing to the well-known Iyabo Ojo case as an example.

Verydarkman replied by justifying his actions, saying he only goes after people when he gets complaints about their scams.

He shared a story about how he revealed influencer Ashmusy for scamming a man out of ₦1 million, which led to her paying the money back.

VDM denied Ruggedman’s statement that he called Iyabo Ojo an “old retired actress” in an old video.

He also stated that he has no respect for any Nigerian celebrities, including Ruggedman, who claimed to have lost admiration for him.

“All these celebrities in Nigeria, I don’t rate you people. I don’t rate you guys,” he stated.

The TikToker claimed that many celebrities are frauds who trick their fans with Ponzi schemes online.

He also voiced his anger towards Ruggedman, mentioning a previous event where the rapper was attacked in London, and suggested that Ruggedman should have faced worse consequences for his opinions.
