“I have fought too many battles in my short life”- Charly Boy opens up on his battle with cancer prostrate [Video]

Charles Oputa, better known as Charly Boy, is a legendary singer from Nigeria who has opened up about his struggle with the disease.

In a post on his Instagram profile, the singer and activist shared his story of overcoming prostate cancer.

Charly Boy revealed that he had been fighting the illness for more than 10 days while posting a video of himself being wheeled out of the theatre.

He believes that God has bestowed upon him the biggest favour by allowing him to survive.

He expressed gratitude to God for saving his life, thanked his family for their support, and thanked the Nigerian surgeon.

“Gosh,

I have fought one too many battles in my short life.
Most of the time, I win.

Prostate cancer cannot cripple love, it cannot shatter hope, it cannot conquer his spirit.

Abegi makes una help me thank God for giving me yet another chance”.

Charly Boy denies protest conversation with Obasanjo in leaked audio

Charly Boy reacts to allegations of having a discussion with Ex-president Obasanjo on spearheading a protest in a leaked audio.

This comes following the circulation of a leaked audio alleged to be the voice conversation between Charly Boy and Olusegun Obasanjo insisting on a protest over the result of the 2023 Presidential election.

Speaking with SaharaReporters on a telephone call, Charly Boy denied ever making the call, while adding that his voice was doctored to achieve a purpose he knows nothing about.

“My brother, I don’t know about the calls and I challenged those who spread the fake news what they stand to fan the embers of discord. Let me ask, is Nigeria better off today? Are Nigerians living better? Is the election free, fair and credible?” he asked.

Nigerian singer, Charly Boy has warned founder of Omega Fire ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman to be careful of his inner circle.

The legendary singer noted how the clergyman has been embroiled in several scandalous news over the years. Although, admitting that many Nigerian pastors are fraudulent or scumbags, he however, believes that Apostle Suleman is the only one who bears the brunt.

As such, he warned the controversial clergyman to be careful of the women around him. Charly Boy claimed to have had a bad dream about him where some women were trying to cut off his penis.

Over the years, Apostle Suleman has been linked to several women, especially actresses. From Halima Abubakar, to Shan George, Cossy Orjiakor, Iyabo Ojo, Shan George and more.
