“I Have More Evidence Against Bobrisky” – VeryDarkMan Says

  • Martins Vincent Otse, a controversial Nigerian influencer and activist, has revealed additional evidence against crossdresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky.
  • Bobrisky has been accused of serving his 6-month sentence for Naira abuse in a private apartment, following a purported voice note he released.
  • VDM clarified that he did not intend to defame Femi Falana, a Nigerian human rights lawyer and Senior Advocate, as suggested online.

Controversial Nigerian influencer and activist, Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, has disclosed that he possesses additional incriminating evidence against crossdresser Idris Okuneye, commonly referred to as Bobrisky.

This announcement follows the release of a purported voice note in which Bobrisky claimed to have served a six-month sentence for naira abuse in a private residence.

VeryDarkMan also emphasized that he did not intend to defame human rights attorney and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Femi Falana, as has been suggested in online discussions.

“Now, let me tell you something even more interesting. I have another voice note to post, which I will share tomorrow, and it’s from a different person,” VeryDarkMan stated in an Instagram post. “I want a thorough investigation into this matter because the EFCC was mentioned, the Comptroller General of Prisons was named, as well as Uncle Femi Falana and Falz. A deep investigation will reveal everything.”

This statement comes in the wake of Falana’s denial of any connection to Bobrisky and his issuance of a 24-hour ultimatum to VeryDarkMan to retract his claims linking him to Bobrisky.

Falana’s legal representative, in a correspondence to VeryDarkMan, demanded a retraction and an apology.

The controversy originated when VeryDarkMan shared a voice note in which Bobrisky alleged that, following his conviction and sentencing for naira note abuse in April, his godfather, in conjunction with the Controller General of the Nigerian Correctional Service, arranged for him to serve his six-month sentence in a private apartment.

In the voice note, Bobrisky also purportedly claimed that he had been approached by rapper Falz and his father, Falana, who allegedly offered to assist him in obtaining a Federal Government pardon for a fee of ₦10 million.

However, in the letter from his legal team demanding a retraction and apology, Falana asserted: “We wish to state, without any fear of contradiction, that our client (Falana) has never, in his life, spoken to Bobrisky regarding his alleged pardon or on any matter whatsoever.”

VeryDarkMan responded to the letter by stating that he did not defame the human rights lawyer; rather, he simply questioned the lawyer’s purported involvement.
