Prominent Nigerian skit creator Adesokan Adedeji Emmanuel, widely recognized as Shank Comics, has voiced his discontent on social media regarding the recent surge in fuel prices.
In an emotional statement, the comedic actor disclosed that he incurred an astonishing cost of N75,000 to refuel his vehicle.
This revelation comes on the heels of his earlier excitement when he hosted American streamer Kai Cenat during his visit to Nigeria a few months prior.
Via his Instagram account, Shank criticized the government and those in power for the financial strain imposed on the populace.
His post quickly attracted significant attention, leading to a wave of responses from fans and various social media users.
While some expressed sympathy for his situation, others raised questions about the type of vehicle he owns, implying that N75,000 appeared to be a modest amount for refueling a contemporary car.
