“I lost N13.6m”- Lady cries out as she quits her job in Nigeria to travel abroad, Visa agent dupes her

A Nigerian woman looking to migrate to the UK wasted £8,500 to a work visa agency.

Jumtel came out to tell her tale years after the horrific tragedy that left her destitute.

Jumtel stated in a TikTok post that she wanted to travel to the UK as a skilled worker, so she hired an agent to assist her with the travel paperwork and employment.

She claimed she was introduced to a firm where she was supposed to be taught in preparation for job in the UK.

Jumtel stated that she expected to leave Nigeria in three months, but nothing occurred for a full year.

She stated that the woman who was educating them was meant to assist them in finding employment in the UK in order to acquire a skilled worker visa.

After a year, Jumtel realized that the woman was not going to receive a job, despite all of her preparations for the interview.

That’s how she lost £8,500 (N13.6 million at today’s currency rate) without acquiring a job or a UK visa. The woman who was handling the task for them blocked everyone and went back to square one.

Unfortunately for Jumtel, she had resigned from her N80,000 job in the hopes of finding work and obtaining a visa to relocate to the United Kingdom.

Jumtel later successfully moved to the UK after following the right channel and getting a job and UK visa.
