    • Chineke expressed her motivation to join the U.S. Army, stating that it is her duty to serve her country and God bless America.

Nollywood actress Princess Chineke has initiated a new phase in her life by enlisting in the U.S. Army.

Renowned for her distinguished career in the Nigerian film industry, Chineke is making a notable shift as she transitions from her acting background to pursue a different path.

In a recent interview with Saturday Sun, she articulated her motivations for joining the U.S. Army, stating, “I feel great answering a call to service. That’s the least I could do for the country that gave me so much. God bless America.”

Chineke, who gained prominence as a former Miss UNIBEN and a contestant in the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) pageant, has established a remarkable presence in Nollywood.

Her experience includes modeling for television commercials, billboards, and runway shows, in addition to her significant roles in films.

Although her current commitments are focused on military service, Chineke suggested that her acting career may not be entirely concluded.

“The opportunity always pops up here and there, but as my schedule is full at the moment,” she noted.

Despite her dedication to the military, Princess Chineke expressed her longing for Nollywood.

“I miss Nollywood a lot. I miss being able to portray different representations of characters. I miss working with my colleagues. I miss bringing life to a story with different collective crafts. I have really missed out a lot.”

Reflecting on her recent holiday season, Chineke appreciated the chance to unwind and spend quality time with family. She commented, “The holiday was much needed. I spent most of my time with family and taking all the rest I could; the end of the year was quite hectic. This beginning of the year and beyond will also be tedious as I resume back to my military duties.”
