Venita Akpofure, a former Big Brother Naija contestant, recently revealed that she misses the profound sense of closeness and connection that comes with having a life partner.

Venita Akpofure told up about her desire for intimacy, which many people can surely relate to.

Venita recently discussed the struggles and feelings she had faced in previous relationships in a recent interview.

She mentioned how she misses the intimacy that comes with having a boyfriend in her life.

The reality TV personality discussed the importance of emotional connection and the enormous effect it may have on one’s overall well-being.

She revealed this when reflecting on her first marriage. Despite their divorce a few years ago, Venita and her ex-husband remain close because of their two children.

Venita expressed her desire for the close, profound connection that comes with cohabiting with a significant other.

Remember when Venita had a relationship with another BBNaija housemate, Adekunle?

A situation that ended before they left the house, but in an interview, Adekunle reveals how he fell in love with Venita.

Adekunle revealed that he fell in love with Venita after she caught a joke he was telling in the house.

He admitted to the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, that he had never intended to date anyone while inside the house, but Venita had won his heart with her sharp mind.

He claimed that his affair with Venita in the House taught him a lot about the mechanics of relationships.

In his words:

“To be honest, I didn’t focus on getting into a relationship, but I know that in my previous season I didn’t interact with women much. So my plan this time around was to interact with more women.

I noticed Venita in the first week. I threw a joke in the air and she was the only one that caught it. I actually like intelligent women. I was like I’m going to pay extra attention to her. And she was very different from the rest of the housemates. So, I saw an opportunity to get to know her.

“When I was the Head of House, I was the only one upstairs. And I was like I’m not going to sleep alone this time around. So, I took her up.”
