I Miss You Everyday – Wizkid Celebrates hIs Mum’s first Posthumous Birthday in Tears

Wizkid, the acclaimed Nigerian musician, went to his X page to pay a touching homage to his late mother, Mrs. Morayo, on her posthumous birthday.

In a tweet, he described his great pain and longing as:

“Happy birthday love of my life! Miss you every day. First one without you here feels unreal. Nothing makes sense without you, mama! Life is empty without you. Continue to watch over us! My heart is broken forever!

He went on to express his warm memories of her as follows:

“Your smile is all a memory I will never forget. Your laugh! Your hugs and kisses. I miss you dearly!”

Wizkid’s emotional tribute showcases the impact his mother had on his life, and the immense pain her passing has left.

In other post, Davido, an Afrobeat musician, has accomplished a new milestone with his album “Timeless.”

This is due to the fact that the album has now received over 450 million Spotify streams.

With hits including “Unavailable,” “Feel,” “Kante,” and “No Competition,” the album, which released on March 31, 2024, has smashed numerous records and is now the most streamed Nigerian album on Spotify.
