Sonia Ighalo, the former spouse of Nigerian footballer Jude Ighalo, has made a public appeal for the reimbursement of the bride price that was paid during their marriage.
In a post on social media, Sonia Ighalo conveyed her dissatisfaction, indicating her desire to return the payment due to her parents’ substantial contributions to the original sum.
She specified the amount of 24 Nigerian naira, highlighting that her parents returned half of this sum to Jude Ighalo for the welfare of their daughter.
Sonia also referenced biblical texts, seeking both guidance and protection amid their ongoing contentious separation.
This announcement comes in the wake of earlier public discussions regarding their marriage and subsequent separation.
