Israel DMW has spoken out about his turbulent relationship with his ex-wife, Sheila Courage, stating that after spending over N2 million on her wedding, she only repaid N1,000 Naira.
The disclosure occurred during a live video interview with notorious media figure Daddy Freeze, in which Israel discussed the complexities of their marital issue.
Contrary to Sheila’s public declaration confirming the return of the bride money, Israel stated that she had just sent only N1,000 by SMS.
Israel expressed his dismay, stating that ancient etiquette mandates that the bride price be returned to his family because he was not personally responsible for its payment.
Earlier reports had highlighted Israel’s public outburst, warning any prospective suitors from approaching Sheila and attributing the marriage breakdown to familial interference, particularly from Sheila’s mother.
In response to Sheila’s claims of returning the bride price, Israel took to his Instagram story to dispute her assertions, affirming that the bride price had not been returned as stated.
