A Youth Corps member who recently completed her NYSC programme displayed the substantial amount of money she saved from her allowance over the course of a year.
The young lady spoke about herself and her journey in a video posted on her TikTok page, mentioning her involvement in selling saving boxes. Despite this, she decided to save her monthly allowance.
The video shows the lady holding various boxes and a stack of money she saved during her service year.
In her post, the lady wrote: “As a corper, you can actually save money from your alawee if you can discipline yourself.”
“I opened my alawee box today and I’m so happy. If you need a saving box, drop a message in the comment section.”
“And if you want to know how I was able to do mine, feel free to ask. I will also explain the challenges I faced while serving my fatherland. #nyscnigeria @NYSC PAGE.”
