Ada Cross River, a Nigerian lady, revealed her success story of obtaining an international passport without any problems or extra payments by utilizing the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) online application method.
Ada took to TikTok to guide her followers through the steps of obtaining a Nigerian passport on the NIS website.
Her video, which has received a lot of attention, emphasizes the ease and cost-effectiveness of applying online.
Ada contacted an NIS office contact before discovering the online application option, who gave her a charge of N45,000 for the passport.
She decided to try her luck with the NIS website in order to investigate alternative choices.
To her delight, the online application process not only streamlined the procedure but also drastically lowered the cost.
Ada stated that she paid N26,000 for her passport, with the full transaction taking place online.
This significant savings of N19,000 compared to the initial price from the NIS office was a strong argument for her to use the online method.
Ada chose the NIS office in Calabar, Cross River state, for her passport processing site.
Following her successful online application on July 10, 2023, she was notified that she may pick up her passport on August 23, 2023, after completing the required biometric capture.
