“I refused to buy maternity clothes” – Rihanna talks about her choice of dressing during pregnancy

Barbadian singer and businesswoman Robyn Rihanna Fenty, better known as Rihanna, talks about her pregnant fashion choices.

During an interview with BBC News, the singer revealed that she simply refused to buy maternity clothing, which are popular among pregnant women. She mentioned that she wears whatever fits to push her fashion sense.

The fashion entrepreneur, who has two kids with American rapper A$AP Rocky, stated that she enjoys modifying her style as a pregnant mother. She was known for wearing clothing that reveals her baby bump.

Two years of being pregnant with her two sons pushed her to approach her dress style in a creative way. During her two-year pregnancy, she relished the opportunity to create her own style.

She pointed out dealing with pregnancy to fashion in that she chose to do it her own way.

She said:

“I approached it like everything else I approach with fashion, I just want to do things my way, I just want to switch it up and put my own twist on it, But I just refused to buy maternity clothes…whatever fits is what’s going to work and that made me challenge myself to get clever with style”
