Fireboy DML, a popular Afrobeat musician, has said that he turned down lucrative agreements from major artists in the industry until his senior colleague and record label boss, Olamide, walked up.
The singer said in an interview that he was approached by a few well-known singers who wanted to sign him to their record company, but he declined.
Fireboy stated that when Olamide arrived, he was convinced that he was making the decision for him, and that this process assisted his future career decisions.
