Nigerian actress and singer, Bisola Aiyeola, has shared her early misunderstandings regarding fame and the significant insights she has gained throughout her career in the entertainment sector.

In reflecting on her path, Aiyeola acknowledged that she once thought success would arrive without much effort. However, she quickly came to understand that both patience and perseverance are essential.

When asked about a lesson she wished she had learned prior to entering the industry, Aiyeola revealed to Saturday Beats that she initially expected fame and fortune to come swiftly.

She said, “I wish I knew that I needed to be patient. When I initially joined, I was a bit entitled. I didn’t think that I had to be patient. I just felt like if people knew me, I would blow automatically. But that didn’t happen. So, I had to be patient, and finally, here we are.”

Discussing the importance of maintaining relationships while establishing boundaries, Aiyeola noted, “You have to know yourself, that’s the first thing. When you know yourself, you know the kind of things that you can tolerate. I am an acquaintance to so many people, but my circle is very small. So I always have to protect my peace, protect my energy. And the best way to do that is to know myself. I feel it’s easy to just compartmentalize people and relationships when you know yourself.”

Further commenting on her recent appearance on the KieKie Unscripted Experience, she expressed her enthusiasm for the show’s distinctive combination of education, entertainment, and empowerment.

“Everything about it was great. I loved it. I had a swell time on the show. One of my favourite aspects of the show was the live music, it was amazing”, she added.
