    Nollywood actress and producer Funke Akindele has shared her experiences of borrowing clothing to achieve a stylish appearance in films.

    Currently enjoying a vacation in Ghana, she posted a video featuring herself and her friends while reflecting on her early career.

    The producer revealed that she often borrowed outfits from her colleague, Sikiratu Sindodo, to enhance her appearance on set.

    Additionally, Funke Akindele expressed her appreciation for fellow actress Iyabo Ojo, acknowledging her support in helping her establish a foothold in the film industry and gain recognition.

    It is noteworthy that Funke Akindele recently made headlines by ranking as the highest-grossing lead actress in Nigeria’s Box Office for 2024 with her film “Everyone Loves Jenifa.”

    Reports indicate that her latest movie has generated revenue of N1.125 billion.

    Other news, Nigerian music sensation Tems has clinched her second Grammy award, winning Best African Music Performance at the 2025 Grammy Awards.

    The singer earned the prestigious accolade for her hit song “Love Me JeJe”, triumphing over strong contenders, including Yemi Alade, Asake, Wizkid, Chris Brown & Davido, and Burna Boy.

    This milestone follows South African singer Tyla, who won the category’s inaugural award in 2024 with “Water”.

    Tems, a dominant force in the music industry, received three nominations at this year’s Grammys, bringing her career total to eight. She was also nominated for Best Global Music Album (Born in the Wild) and Best R&B Song (Burning).
