Soso has caused a stir after being fined N75,00 for exchanging N100,000 cash at a wedding.
Soso, a skit maker, has sparked outrage after being charged a whopping N75,000 for exchanging 100,000 in cash for a wedding.
Taking to social media, Soso expressed her shock and disappointment at the amount of money she was asked to exchange.
She described the situation as “broad daylight robbery” and promised to transfer the money to the wedding couple instead of being charged such a high fee.
In her words;
“Shebi I will just put that money together and transfer to the couple because it’s remaining for you people to carry a gun in this city and be robbing. That’s broad daylight robbery, how will you collect N75,000 for N100,000. I’m still in shock till now.”
Soso’s outcry rapidly gained attention on social media, with netizens flooding the comments section to share their own experiences and reactions.
Many expressed their disbelief at the exorbitant charges, emphasizing that they had never encountered such high rates for currency exchange before.
