Nigerian street-hop singer, Habeeb Okikiola better known as Portable, has revealed he once collected money to insult Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He made this known in reaction to backlash he received for declaring support for the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, noting that the table has now turned.
Recall that in a video which went viral, the Zazuu star received a bag of cash to endorse Tinubu and Osun state governor, Gboyega Oyetola, who is seeking re-election.
However, in a new video, Portable recounted how he was paid to insult the former governor of Lagos State during the EndSARS protest.
“If they pay you money, you have to work. I was once paid to insult Tinubu during the protests. That was a long time ago. Now, APC has said Akoi Tinubu.
“If they pay you, do your job, no ripping. When I was asked to insult Tinubu, I collected my money and did my job. Now Tinubu is the next. They’re the ones that gave me money, and I must do the work for the money I collected. Akoi APC,” he said in Yoruba.
