In his words, “We believe that they were poisoned. We are here at Ekeki Police Station in the company of Favour’s father to secure the release of his corpse for burial. But it is proving difficult after swearing to an affidavit. We gathered that they ate food that they ordered which was delivered by a logistics motorbike and they died. One of them who was in the toilet however survived because he did not eat from the meal.” Another friend of the victims, who spoke anonymously said, “the deceased were awake when we forced the security man to open the gate to their residence. Nelson (one of the deceased) was sitting on the chair but his head was on the ground with his vomit. Richie (another deceased) has his computer tab on his hand and Yazz showed he was struggling. It clearly showed that they were poisoned.” The State Commissioner of Police, Benjamin Okolo, however, confirmed the death of the four youths and attributed it to a drug overdose. “They died of a drug overdose. It is quite unfortunate that they administered the drug themselves. They were five and the one that survived told us that the deceased took two pills each while he took one. This was why they died,” he said.

Nollywood actor, Olaiya Igwe has clarified why he went naked to show his support for presidential aspirant, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Recall that the veteran made headlines last week after a video of him naked at the beach, praying for the success of BAT surfaced online.

In an interview with TVC ‘Your View’ host, Morayo Brown, he revealed that he was commanded to do it spiritually.

According to him, a voice spoke to him while he slept, and told him to prove his love for Asiwaju by going naked and praying for him.

“I was asked to stand up and do it spiritually. I have a gift of revelation by Almighty God.

Sometimes I see what God plans for me ahead before it happens.

I was sleeping that day and a voice came to me and said, “Please stand up! You said you love Asiwaju and he has been assisting you and I said yes.

The voice told me to stand up and go do it”, he said.

Recall many were left disappointed when he shared a video of himself n**ked praying for BAT.

In his caption, Olaiya revealed that it is his pleasure to support a candidate who truly reflects our values and highest ideals.

He believed that BAT would be the best to protect our dreams and fight hard to keep the promise of Nigeria for the next generation.
