Simisola Kosoko, a.k.a. Simi, a Nigerian musician, has described an embarrassing incident in which she claims that her looks almost prevented her from entering a passport office.

The mother of one described how she was first denied entry to the passport office owing to her “inappropriate dressing” on her Instagram page a few hours ago.

Simi said that the security officers at the gate told her that her dress was too low.

She stated that she was permitted inside after pressing various power buttons.

Simi said that in order to get her passport, she had to take off her nose ring, earrings, and scarf since apparently, sleeveless/spaghetti strap attire is not permitted on passports.

The Duduke crooner said despite having a cold, she had to sing for them at the passport office upon request. Simi said in part:

“I went to the passport office to get my passport done and when I reached the gate, they said I should go back because I am indecently dressed.

“I looked myself up and down, and asked, can you see anything in my body that is indecent? He said he cannot see, but ‘I should go back and wear something more ‘down’.”
