Tailor laments the rising cost of goods in the nation after discovering that a generator she had wanted to buy last year had doubled in price this year.
The woman disclosed that she works as a fashion designer and needs continuous electricity to do her work but that isn’t available she uses a generator that runs on fuel.
She couldn’t afford it when she went to the market last year to acquire one, even though she was told the price was N185,000. She was informed that the generator was now worth N350,000 when she arrived at the market early this year to finally purchase it.
She conveyed her disappointment and dismay at the expensive price in a brief period of time.
According to the tailor, the seller suggested that she purchase it immediately, as it would have become more costly by the time she return to get it.
