Ladies intentionally go for BBNaija to get customers for their kpekus – Nedu Wazobia says

Nedu Wazobia, a controversial on-air personality, has apologized for his remark about women using marriage as a strategy to fight poverty.

His thoughts on the marriage dissolution of Moroccan footballer Achraf Hakimi and his wife Hiba Abouk were expressed.

In a video posted to his Instagram page, Nedu chastised women, saying that the majority of them make people lose interest in marriage. He declared that there is no longer marital love.

The TV presenter said: “I don’t know if you people have seen that video or the pictures or the message of that PSG footballer called Hakimi who claimed to be 24-year-old and his wife is asking for a divorce. And demand 50 per cent of his property.

“You see that marriage is dead? In fact, if people believed anything in marriage before, with what’s happening in marriage in the whole world, people wouldn’t want to get married anymore.

Most women, many of you, make some people not be interested in marriage because you have turned the thing into a poverty alleviation scheme.”

On social media, he received harsh criticism for his remarks. People called him insensitive and said he shouldn’t address every relationship issue.

Nedu made the decision to express his regret in a series of posts on his Instagram story, noting that his pay is provided by their coffers.

The OAP emphasized that he would stop saying things that most people find offensive.

He wrote: ”Sincere apologies to those hurt by my Hakimi video. It’s totally taken out of context. Regardless, I sincerely apologize. It’s you guys that’s paying my salary, so whatever doesn’t sit well with you all won’t be entertained by me. God bless you all. Love and light.”

“What 70% of Nigerian actresses own, na chairmen dey give them” – Nedu Wazobia alleges

Nedu Wazobia has alleged that what most women in the movie industry own were given to them by men.

The OAP who is known for his controversial takes on things said this in an episode of his podcast, Honest Bunch.

According to Nedu, most ladies get into the movie industry because they had caught the fancy of a media mogul who found them physically attractive and wanted to have them.

He said that these budding starlets begin to roll with these men who spoil them with their hearts desires.

Speaking further, he added that a lot of women use skits as a way to advertise themselves to men who might find them attractive and reach out for their numbers.
