South-African singer, Tyla was asked which celebrity she would like to bring to prom, and she mentioned Rema
Rema, a Nigerian afrobeats performer, is a favorite of South African singer Tyla Laura Seethal, better known by her stage as Tyla.
In a recent interview with Apple Music, Tyla was asked which celebrity she would like to bring to prom, and she mentioned Rema.
She said, “Rema would be cute. I hung out with him last year, and we took pictures together. That was so dramatic.
“After that situation I realised that Hollywood is just vibes like you can’t trust everything you see cause that looked like a scandal. Even I started believing [we were dating]. But we are just friends.”
Rumours have also surfaced that Rema and labelmate Ayra Starr were once romantically linked.
Ayra Starr, on the other hand, refuted the rumours and called Rema a “brother.”
Meanwhile….
Famous artist Divine Ikubor, often known as Rema, has claimed that he does not create songs purely for financial gain.
The 21-year-old claimed to be financially secure even when performing freestyles and posting on social media, which led to his record company finding him.
Korty EO was told by Rema in an interview that he would still be “hustling” and earning money even if he failed to break into the music industry.
The ‘Calm Down’ crooner said, “If music didn’t work, I will still be pushing that p in the corner while hustling, you understand.
“Even at that point where I was doing freestyles, I didn’t really need to do a freestyle because I needed money. I had money. I was actually good.”*
