A Nigerian man named Solomon Idowu, who lives in Chicago, apologises to veteran artist Seun Kuti for threatening his life online.
This comes just hours after the artist confronted the Nigerian at Murtala Muhammed International Airport about threats to his and his family’s lives.
The individual originally put up a stern front and stood by his statements, but eventually caved to pressure and apologised to Seun Kuti.
Taking responsibility for his acts, he remarked in a recorded video that if any arm comes to Femi Anikulapo’s son in Chicago, he should be held accountable.
“If anything happens to Seun, my name is Solomon Idowu; I am a citizen of the United States, and I live in Chicago. If anything happens to Seun in Chicago I’ll be responsible. This is because of some miscommunications between us,” he stated.
He, however, offered a hand of friendship to the Seun which was immediately rejected.
