"If Baltasar sue the govt he will surely WIN" – Sonia Ighalo claims

In light of the ongoing scandal surrounding the Director of the National Intelligence and Security Service (ANIF) of Equatorial Guinea, Sonia Ighalo, the spouse of Nigerian footballer Odion Ighalo, has offered her distinct viewpoint on the matter.

Amidst the turmoil, Sonia articulated that, despite the controversy’s complexity, the individual implicated in the scandal may have a strong case for a lawsuit against the government.

She emphasized that the officials who disseminated private videos to the public acted improperly.

Sonia asserted that it is not the public’s duty to engage with such private affairs, and it is the responsibility of the spouse of those involved to pursue legal action.

She remarked that the breach of privacy through such degrading leaks is particularly concerning, especially considering that a life was lost as a result.

In her commentary, Sonia also pointed out the deficiencies in training, drawing a comparison to the standards of Nigerian officers.

She said:

“As messy as everything is in Equatorial Guinea, if this guy sue the govt he will surely WIN.

“The officers had no right to release the videos to the World (Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, and so on…) the spouse of those involved should be the one dealing with him in court, humiliating adults for something consensual and someone had lost her life in the process.

*no proper training same thing Nig officers can do.”
