The pastor was heavily criticized after seven persons including police officers, who were in his convoy, were killed in an attack by armed men.

Suleman who escaped in a bulletproof car was accused of caring about just his welfare and not that of those around him.

Reacting to the allegation while preaching in his church, Apostle Johnson Suleman who had earlier boasted that he can’t be killed because he’s a Man of God, said if he had the money, he would buy a bulletproof car for every member of his church.*
