Nollywood actresses and actors attended the event and rejoiced alongside Ekene. Ekene Umenwa took to her page a few days after the wedding to pay tribute to her main bride’s maid, Chinenye Nnebe.

She acknowledged her delight at having chosen the actress as her maid of honour. Ekene described Chinenye as an angel in human form, adding that if she had been a man, she would have married her because of her character, charm, elegance, and calmness.
