Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai, was on Channels TV last night where he insisted that the over 21,000 teachers that failed the October 2017 competency test, remain sacked. He said this while reacting to the protest embarked upon by the Nigeria Labor Congress to kick against the mass sack of the teachers, yesterday January 11th.
Governor El-Rufai maintained that no amount of political blackmailing will make his administration rescind its decision to sack the teachers. According to him, efforts are being made to employ new competent and qualified teachers to work in the state public schools. Watch his interview below
