If Your Marriage is troubled, Walk Away with Your Life – Yul Edochie to Married Couple

Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has ignited discussions online with his latest advice on relationships, encouraging people to leave toxic marriages instead of enduring abuse or harm.

In a recent Instagram post, the actor reacted to a heartbreaking video showing a woman who suffered severe burns inflicted by her husband. Addressing the troubling situation, Yul expressed his views on the essence of marriage, stressing that it should not be considered a “do-or-die” commitment, especially when the relationship becomes unhealthy or unsafe.

His message resonated with many, sparking conversations about the importance of prioritizing personal safety and well-being over societal expectations in marriages.

“If your marriage is not working, let go. Let go, walk away.

I saw the video of the lady that was

burnt by her husband & it broke my heart.

Those having marital issues, listen up: Even if you catch your wife with another man, there’s no justification for harming her.

If you catch your husband with another woman, there can be no justification for harming him.

Don’t kill another human being because of marriage.

Marriage is not do or die. Walk away,” he wrote.

While his advice was well-received by some, others pointed out the contradiction, as Yul himself faced controversy for his infidelity, including his relationship with Judy Austin while still married to May Edochie.
