Residents around 8 miles axis of Calabar Municipal local government area on Saturday, put their lives at risk by scooping the contents of a tanker at the Scanobo section of the Calabar-Odukpani federal highway.
According to reports, the truck fell as the driver maneuvered through bad sections of the road. An eyewitness said the truck was loaded with over 33,000 liters of Kerosene.
“Residents and commuters of the city have complained bitterly about the devil point, now known as the point of death,” said the eyewitness.
