Ilebaye, the most recent Big Brother Niger All-Stars champion, became embroiled in controversy after having a public meltdown while speaking with Charles of Glitch Africa Studio.
The well-known TV personality and interviewer Charles shared his perspective on social media.
He claimed that he had invited Ilebaye to the studio for an interview but that when she arrived, he overheard her yelling at her chaperone.
Charles rushed outside to investigate the disturbance because he was worried, but by the time he returned, Ilebaye had driven off without saying anything or meeting the production crew.
Charles continued by saying that they had already begun recording with Pere and Adekunle when Ilebaye arrived at the studio.
This meant that they were unable to end the current session in order to accommodate her. She was forced to wait until the next session, which was planned to include her and Cross.
Charles expressed his anger in an open and straightforward remark, saying that despite Ilebaye’s big victory on the reality show, it had not always translated into exceptional character. He finished by saying that she had shown contempt to the entire Glitch Africa Studio staff by her actions.
Charles said on his Instagram story that Ilebaye continuously questioned why she was made to wait and showed her outrage during the encounter. He left readers with a provocative parting shot: “Celebrity of yesterday, truly money doesn’t buy class.”
