Bella Shmurda reaches out to his late friend, Mohbad and promises to be there for his son.

Bella Shmurda wrote in a touching statement to the late artist that he is still reeling from the shock of losing Mohbad.

He claimed that since his friend’s death, he has turned into an alcoholic.

Shmurda made a passionate pledge to lend a helping hand, assuring Mohbad’s young son that he would step in to care for him.

He pledged to look after his son Liam and carry on Mohbad’s heritage.

Sharing a picture of his late friend, Mohbad, Bella Shmurda wrote:

“You told me to stop it [mourning].I have been trying. I just hope you’re okay where you are, cos I have not been happy for days. I have been drinking and going back and forth on how to move on.

“It’s sad that Abiola Imole never get to know you. But be rest assured [that] I will tell your story. And I will definitely take care of our fruit [son]. I’m passing all the love to our sons.

“Lol. Lowkey, I’m Bell and Sons Inc.”

Recall that the late singer, Mohbad died on the 12th of September, at the age of 27.

Reports from entertainment journalist Ovie on X (formerly Twitter) indicate that the 27-year-old Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. However, the exact cause of his demise remains undisclosed at this time.

It’s worth noting that Mohbad was formerly signed to Naira Marley’s “Marlian Records” but departed from the label in 2022. He had gained widespread recognition for his hit singles such as “Ponmo,” “Feel Good,” and “KPK (Ko Por Ke)” in collaboration with Rexxie.
