“I’m dying” – Nigerian student starving in school cries out from his room

In the viral video, the student can be seen tearfully addressing the camera, explaining the enormous challenges he has faced since entering tertiary education.

A Nigerian student from Niger Delta University, who goes by the TikTok handle @whisky_dennis, has opened up about the difficult circumstances he is experiencing at school.

Sympathetic netizens have flocked to the passionate request for assistance.

In the video, which has now gone viral, @whisky_dennis can be seen tearfully addressing the camera, explaining the enormous challenges he has faced since entering tertiary education.

He admits, with tears in his eyes, that he has no immediate family support because his father is deceased and his mother is a farmer, leaving him with no financial or emotional support.

“Since I came to this school, things have been so hard for me. Nobody to help me. My dad is late. My mum is a farmer. No family. No friends. I’m dying. I’ve been starving for weeks. I’m dying,” the video caption read.

As the video circulated, numerous netizens reached out with offers of help, ranging from financial assistance to emotional support.
