A South African lady identified on Twitter as @MissTinah_M, has vowed never to take care of any man or build him following the heartbreak she recently suffered.
She revealed that her boyfriend whom she’s been taking care of, underappreciated her efforts and even broke up with her to be with another girl.
According to Tinah, she cleared his debt with his employer to prevent him from losing his job but that was apparently not enough.
She said that what he did is the reason she would no longer lower her standards for any other man she meets in the future.
Taking to Twitter, Tinah wrote; ”I dated a man who I provided for. Helped him settle his debt with his boss. Or else he was going to be fired at work. That guy left me high and fry for a better woman. So forgive me for not wanting to drop my standards. I’m not building a man. He must build himself.”

@CoruscaKhaya; Kinda easy to believe that he definitely found a better woman.
@TomMischsWife; For someone with 7 side hustles, and a 9-5, you sure do have A LOT of time on your hands to be explaining yourself to a bunch of strangers on the internet.🥺
@nwunyeegombute1; I’m happy you said he left for a better woman. So you know say you be kpokulowo
@SundayO24605020; U level of vawulence is too high.Chaiiii..take this to cool down biko🤣🤣
@phumz_24; You’re doing a lot of explaining for someone who knows their worth Chomi. Rest now 🫶🏾😭😭😭🤣🤣🙏🏾!
@mpilo_shabalala; Paying for dates and things that you guys do together is building a man. Did he ask you to pay his bond or what? Where do guys get these type of women, I’ve actually never met one and I intend on keeping it that way.
@Jaytea2015; They don’t even make 1% globally so if you were to look for them you’d waste your time.
@olwethumsane; Not wanting to drop your standards is one thing. Explaining yourself with so much frustration is another…almost looks like you’re not even sure if you deserve the standards you’re setting.
@DaltonProd; There is definitely more to this than just the “standards” principle. People go through a lot.
