Embattled Miss South African contestant, Chidimma Adetshina, has stated that she is not looking forward to getting back to the country soon.
According to Gistlover, Chidimma encountered considerable backlash in South Africa upon the announcement of her participation in the Miss South Africa competition.
Following allegations of fraud and identity theft involving her mother from the South African Home Office, she decided to withdraw from the pageant.
Subsequently, Chidimma received an invitation to participate in the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant, which she accepted after her exit from Miss South Africa.
Since her arrival in Nigeria over a week ago to compete, Adetshina has conveyed her happiness regarding her time in her father’s homeland.
In an interview with Cool FM Nigeria, she stated, “I think it’s safe to say I’m not going back
“It’s been amazing. I’m not even looking forward to going back to South Africa. I just want to explore more. I want to stay longer and see what happens next.”
